Once upon a time I worked at a cupcake shop. She took her recipes from existing recipe books, so I didn't feel bad taking recipes from her. Plus, you know, the shop doesn't exist anymore, so it's hardly an issue.

1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup 35% cream
1 cup milk
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

To make it Red Velvet
add 1 tablespoon cocoa and red food colouringI honestly don't have directions for it. Or, wait, yes I do.
